What to expect:

- All new Air-conditioning units.
- Pinnacle location, making The Hostel a great starting point for all that The Great Barrier Reef has to offer. Relax and enjoy the 74 Whitsunday islands including the world famous Whitehaven Beach. Daily tours showcase this stunning region, whether it be by air, boat, bike or bus.
- Just a minute’s walk to bars, restaurants and Airlie Beach’s lively main street.
- A short 5-minute walk from the main greyhound/premier bus station.
The Hostel, Airlie Beach is under renovation. Our building is an old girl but we are working to make her sparkle once again. We have recently replaced all the mattresses, pillows and bedding. We are making continuous improvements and can't wait for you to see what's changed on your next visit. Please note, at this stage each dorm bed is not equipped with it's own Power Point - rest assured it's in the plans to upgrade all our rooms to include this feature, but please bear with us while we make this happen. Power boards are available, but they do have a tendency to go missing. We hope you'll forgive us for now!
Our Rooms
Twin & Double Rooms
Our basic & small private rooms. Offering privacy & quiet, while keeping money in your wallet to fund all of those must-do Airlie activities. A shared bathroom does apply to these rooms, but just with 1 other room.

Dorm Rooms
For the sociable traveller! Our dorm rooms are shared between 6-8 guests, making them perfect for meeting new people & making friends. Snoring and sleep-talking roommates are a complimentary extra!

Private Room
Our largest, private room complete with it's own bathroom, fridge, table and TV. It is also one of our darkest rooms, perfect for recovering from a day in the sun or a night on the town. Think rest & recovery.
